Foodland Farms Pearl City: New Store, Same Family

Attention, shoppers! In case you missed the good news, Foodland Farms Pearl City is now open!

The grand opening on Wednesday, October 30, came after a month of anticipation following the closure of the original Foodland Pearl City location, which served the nearby community for more than 60 years.

Reusable bags in hand, hundreds of eager customers gathered in masses around the storefront excited to catch a glimpse of their new neighborhood supermarket, talk story with Foodland CEO and Chairman Jenai S. Wall and shop the store’s new and exclusive offerings designed especially for Pearl City.

One thing's for sure, this isn't your grandmother's Foodland. The new store blends everything Pearl City residents loved about their former Foodland with Foodland Farms’ modern, reimagined, yet always distinctly local food shopping and dining experiences.

Eat Local (Produce) Today!

Have you ever wondered where your fruits and veggies come from? We hope you have and we hope the answer is, well, home.

Here at Foodland, we’re committed to eating local today – and every day – by providing our customers with the highest quality of local produce in the islands. Which is why we turn to our backyard to stock our produce section, from the rich volcanic soil of Maui’s Haleakala, to the lush forests of Waimanalo, to remote farms on Molokaʻi.

Join us in our pledge to eat local and you’ll be supporting local farmers in their efforts to cultivate Hawaii’s food supply and improve sustainability in our state.

Summer Grilling

Foodland shoppers, meat summer. It’s the season for grilling and we’re here to supply your beach picnics, backyard BBQs and neighborhood block parties with the highest standard of beef a grill master can buy.

Certified Angus Beef® passes 10 quality standards, making it superior to USDA prime. It’s the most tender, juicy and flavorful beef on the market, and it’s exclusively at Foodland! Keep reading for Chef Keoni’s top grilling tips, recipes and suggestions for how to make your grilling experience Maikaʻi with our very own Maikaʻi products.

Our Maika'i Favorites

We call them Maika‘i because every single one is excellent in its own way. Here’s what we’re loving right now.

All Things Coconut

From Coconutty Cashews to Coconut Water, Bites and Chips, we’re going coco-nuts for these treats.

Cocoa Truffle Spread

Rich, chocolatey and smooth, we love to spread this on toast or use as a dip for fruit when we’re feeling decadent.

Oh What Fun It Is To Give

Shop for Higher Education 2018

Foodland founder, the late Maurice J. “Sully” Sullivan, was much more than a brilliant businessman.  He was an outstanding community leader too.  Sully’s philosophy of giving back to the community has touched thousands of individuals throughout Hawaii, especially Hawaii’s youth.  So, as we launch our 13th annual Shop for Higher Education scholarship program, we are excited about its mission in helping Hawaii’s students achieve their dreams of attending college and reaching their career goals.

Give Aloha 2017

“Thank you for having this program and allowing our organization to participate.  I just wanted to thank you.”
These were the actual words from a very brief but heartfelt phone call from a participating organization’s member.  Now in its nineteenth year, Give Aloha is one of the most anticipated programs for the many organizations who benefit from the generosity of our loyal customers, the Western Union Foundation, and Foodland...  Read More>>
