Quick, but oh so delicious

- 0.75 pound lean ground beef, 80% lean or better
- 0.5 pound raw Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 26 oz. jar thick spaghetti or marinara sauce (Newman's Own recommended)
- 2 cup water or tomato juice
- 0.5 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 pound lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 1 15 oz. cotnainer part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1 pound mozzarella cheese (low moisture), coarsely grated
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
