Ingredients  

  • 0.5 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt, plus additional as needed
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil, plus 1-2 Tbsp. (if needed)
  • 0.5 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 very ripe red tomatoes, chopped
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 2 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley leaves or American, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon fresh basil leaves, chopped
