Maui Onion Mushroom Burger

- 2 Foodland Certified Angus Beef Classic Burgers
- 1 Large Maui onion sliced
- 4 Mushrooms sliced
- 1 tablespoon Maika'i Maui Onion & Garlic Mustard
- 2 Onion buns
- 2 slices Provolone cheese optional
- 1 tablespoon Mayo optional
In a skillet, cook sliced onions in butter over medium heat until soft. Add sliced mushrooms midway through and cook until golden brown. Set aside.
Grill burger patties or pan fry 2-3 minutes each side, or until you achieve your desired doneness. Remove from heat and place provolone cheese on top to begin melting.
Toast buns insides down on a grill surface for 20 seconds.
Place the cooked patty with cheese on the bottom bun. Next, add the caramelized onions & mushrooms. Then finish with a light topping of Maika'i Maui Onion & Garlic Mustard and mayo to the top bun.
