Sweet Chili Edamame
"This is the perfect combination of sweet, salty and spicy! Make it in bulk to share or just a little to snack on." - Kobe Lau, Sous Chef Foodland Farms Ka Makana Ali'i
Prep Time 15 minutes mins
Course Appetizer
Cuisine Vegetables
- 1 16 oz. bag Maika'i Edamame
- 2 cups Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1/2 cup Shoyu
- 2 tablespoons Garlic, minced
- Sesame seeds, as needed
Heat a large pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and toss edamame until steam comes out of the pods.
Once edamame is heated through, add in garlic and stir fry for 2-3 minutes or until garlic is fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.
Add in shoyu and sweet chili sauce and bring to a boil.
Once brought to a boil, turn off the heat and let the edamame sit in the liquid for 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
Place edamame in a serving tray and garnish with sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
