We wanted to let all of our customers know of a voluntary recall that may have affected 12 oz glass bottles of Tejava® Premium Iced Tea packaged in 4 packs available at our Foodland & Sack N Save locations.
As a precautionary measure, certain production lots of Tejava® Premium Iced Tea in 12 oz glass bottles are being recalled nationwide due to the possible presence of glass fragments which could be harmful if swallowed. To date, there have been no reports of any illness or injury. We are currently removing any of the production lots in questions off the shelves at all of our stores.
To identify if any of your Tejava® Premium Iced Tea bottles are part of the recall, please look for the lot code circled in the picture to the left. If the lot code starts with 1BT220, 1BT221, 1BT222, 1BT223, 1BT252, 1BT253, 1BT254, 1BT255, 1BT277, 1BT278, 1BT279, 1BT280 or 1BT313, please return the product to the store where it was purchased.
Please note that the 1 liter size of Tejava® Premium Iced Tea is not affected and is not part of this recall.
