Kim Chee Fried Rice
1⁄4 cuppeanut oil
3 cupscooked white rice, day old or dried out uncovered in the fridge
2 teaspoonsgarlic, minced
1⁄2 cupkalbi, diced (or preferred meat)
1⁄2 cupkim chee, chopped
1⁄2 cupwatercress pieces, 1/2 inch
1⁄2 cupbean sprouts
3eggs, whisked and fried
2 tablespoonsshoyu (dark preferred)
1 tablespoonsesame oil
1⁄2 cupgreen onions, chopped
- Heat the oil in a wok.
- Toss in the rice until hot and golden.
- Toss in the garlic.
- Add in the kalbi, kim chee, watercress, beansprouts, fried egg.
- Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Add in the shoyu and sesame oil.
- Finish with green onions.
