Cuisine Fish & Seafood
Servings 2 dozen

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Spicy Ahi Poke
  • 1 package Wonton wrappers (Sun Noodle brand)
  • 3 Jalapenos, sliced thinly (approximately 1/8")
  • Unagi sushi sauce (Kikkoman)
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Neutral oil for frying
  • Water

Instructions

  • Place approximately 1 tablespoon of poke on the wonton wrapper and top with a jalapeno slice.
  • Add a little water on all edges of the wrapper to ensure the wrapper closes. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, securing the poke and jalapeno in place. Then fold both tip corners in to form a "purse-like" shape.
  • On medium to high heat, deep fry in neutral oil for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  • Once slightly cooled off, arrange on a serving plate and drizzle unagi sauce on the wontons. Garnish with green onions and enjoy!
