Creamy Ahi Dip
Chef Keoni prepares a Creamy Ahi Dip with Hawaii's Best poke. A perfect side dish for potluck and parties with your family and friends.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Japanese pickled ginger(chopped)
- 1 tablespoon cilantro(chopped)
- 0.5 teaspoon lime juice or yuzu juice
- 0.25 teaspoon sesame oil
- 0.25 cup mayonnaise
- 0.25 cup sour cream
- 0.5 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- 0.5 pound Hawaiian style ahi poke, or Shoyu ahi poke: Ask for sauce on side(chopped)
- 3 teaspoons shoyu
- 0.25 cup chopped green onion
- pepper(or shichimi, to taste)
Instructions
- Combine ingredients.
- Adjust the seasoning to taste. Place in a cold serving bowl, garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and pepper or shichimi.
- Serve with sliced French bread or lavosh.
Note: If using Shoyu Ahi poke, omit the shoyu from recipe and adjust seasoning with the sauce accompanying the poke.
