Easy Sweet Soy Tri-Tip Roast

Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lbs. Certified Angus beef Tri-tip Roast
- 1 cup Shoyu
- 1 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Minced Ginger
Instructions
- To prepare the marinade, In a mixing bowl, add in shoyu, brown sugar, minced garlic and minced ginger. Mix until the brown sugar is dissolved.
- Put the tri-tip roast cut in a Ziplock bag then add the marinade mix. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the fridge for 6 - 10 hours or overnight.
- When ready, grill the tri-tip roast to your desired temperature. Aim for an internal temperature between 130-140 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Slice and serve with your favorite veggies or on a bed of asparagus.
- This marinade itself is very versatile. It can be used to cook other recipes with chicken, salmon, or even spam musubi!
