Easy Sweet Soy Tri-Tip Roast

Ingredients  

  • 2 to 3 lbs. Certified Angus beef Tri-tip Roast
  • 1 cup Shoyu
  • 1 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Ginger

Instructions 

  • To prepare the marinade, In a mixing bowl, add in shoyu, brown sugar, minced garlic and minced ginger. Mix until the brown sugar is dissolved.
  • Put the tri-tip roast cut in a Ziplock bag then add the marinade mix. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the fridge for 6 - 10 hours or overnight.
  • When ready, grill the tri-tip roast to your desired temperature. Aim for an internal temperature between 130-140 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Slice and serve with your favorite veggies or on a bed of asparagus.
  • This marinade itself is very versatile. It can be used to cook other recipes with chicken, salmon, or even spam musubi!
