Pineapple Sorbet

  • 1 cup Pineapple
  • 1 cup Ice
  • ½ cup Water
  • ½ cup Ginger
  • ½ cup Agave or sugar of your choice
  • Li Hing Powder


  • Peel and cube ginger into 1-inch pieces.
  • To make the ginger simple syrup, combine equal parts ginger, sugar of your choice, and water into a saucepan. Heat on medium high and stir until it starts to boil.
  • Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes, set aside to cool on countertop or in refrigerator.
  • Peel and cut your fresh pineapple.
  • To make the sorbet, combine equal parts pineapple and ice into a blender, add agave to sweetness of your preference and blend together.
  • Top the sorbet with ginger simple syrup and Li Hing powder, to your desire.
  • Serve and eat right away. Enjoy!
