Pipikaula Fried Rice



Pipikaula Fried Rice
Fried rice made extra tasty by the addition of this Hawaiian dried beef
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup peanut oil
- 3 cups cooked white rice, day old, dried out uncovered in the fridge
- 0.5 cup green onions, chopped
- 0.5 cup pipikaula, diced
- 0.5 cup bay shrimp
- 0.5 cup lup cheong, portuguese sausage or chorizo, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 teaspoons soy sauce, dark preferred
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat the oil in the wok.
- Toss in the rice until hot and golden.
- Toss in the green onions, pipikaula, shrimp and sausage.
- Stir in the peas, garlic, eggs, soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
