Steak Frites

Ingredients
- 1 Ribeye steak
- 2 Russet potatoes, skin removed
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Smoked paprika
- Da Kine Hawaiian Original Rub
- Olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, minced (optional)
- Buttermilk ranch dip (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly salt steak with pulehu seasoning on both sides and set aside.
- Remove skin from potatoes and cut to desired thickness. Add cut potatoes in water to remove some starch, which will help to crisp the potatoes nicely. I soaked for 20 minutes. Remove from water and pat dry.
- Add a generous amount of olive oil with salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Air fry at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until potatoes are crispy.
- Cook steak on medium to high heat. I cook my ribeye for 3 minutes on each side. Let rest for a minimum of 5-10 minutes before slicing steak.
- Plate your steak and fries. Optional: Add parsley and serve with buttermilk ranch.
