Turkey Pot Pie
“This Thanksgiving leftover fix is the perfect way to get an entire meal out of the odds and ends that couldn’t be finished the first round. Feel free to add your favorite spices to this recipe for an extra kick!" - Chef Russell Chu, Development Chef
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups Leftover Turkey Meat White, dark or both
- 4 cups Stuffing
- 2 cups Mashed potatoes
- 2.5 cups Gravy
- 1 14 ounce box Puff Pastry
- Milk, optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Lay out the puff pastry and cut out a 14” circle.
- In a medium pot, heat the gravy, then add the potatoes. Once mixture is thoroughly heated, add the turkey, season with salt, pepper and keep warm over low heat.
- In a large, oiled cast iron skillet (12” diameter), crumble the stuffing over the base of the pan.
- Gently ladle the turkey mixture int the pan evenly over the stuffing.
- Place the puff pastry over the skillet, brush with milk and bake for 15-17 minutes at 350°F until golden brown.
- Rest for 5-10 minutes then serve.
