Chinese Chicken Salad
Chinese Chicken Salad
"This is one of my favorite salads and it's so customizable! I recommend topping with edamame, mandarin oranges and almonds for extra flavors and textures." - Chef Dorvin Shinjo, Chef de Cuisine
Ingredients
- 8 ounces Huli Huli Chicken, shredded white meat
- 12 ounces Garden salad mix
- 4 fluid ounces Maika'i Asian Sesame Dressing
- 2 ounces Hawaii Candy Wun Tun Strips
- 2 ounces Cilantro
- 1 package Slivered almonds (optional)
- 1 can Mandarin oranges (optional)
Instructions
- In a large salad bowl, combine the salad mix, a little bit of the Asian sesame dressing and season with some salt and pepper.
- Add the shredded chicken and half of the Wun Tun Strips. Then add more of the dressing, but be careful not to over dress or the salad will become soggy.
- Place salad in a serving bowl and top with the rest of Wun Tun Strips and cilantro. If you do not care for cilantro, substitute for slivered almonds.
