Fried Saimin

Ingredients  

  • 2 packages Ichiban Saimin (chicken or shrimp)
  • 1/2 can Spam (sliced)
  • 1 package Kamaboko (sliced)
  • 3 Eggs, scrambled omelet style (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Canola oil

Instructions 

  • In a pot, boil water and add two packs of saimin noodles. Let the noodles cook for 1 minute and 30 seconds then strain noodles.
  • Shock noodles in ice bath, then strain again and let them air dry.
  • Pre-heat frying pan with oil then stir fry the sliced Spam and Kamaboko.
  • Add noodles and two packets of the saimin soup base to the pan and mix together.
  • Season noodles with pepper.
  • Beat eggs in a bowl and make a thin omelet in a separate pan. Let the eggs cool and slice into strips.
  • Garnish dish with eggs and green onions.
