Mango Sticky Rice

Course Snack


  • 1 cup Uncooked sticky rice
  • 1 can Coconut milk (13.5 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Mango
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sesame seeds


  • Cook sticky rice according to package directions.
  • While the rice is cooking start on the coconut sauce. Add coconut milk and sugar to a small saucepan set over medium high heat. Heat through until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has thickened. Reserve ¼ cup of coconut sauce.
  • Once the rice has finished cooking, remove from the pot and add to a bowl. Pour the reserved coconut sauce into the rice and mix to combine.
  • Peel and slice the mango.
  • Serve sticky rice with sliced mango and drizzle the coconut sauce over. Top with sesame seeds and ENJOY!
