Grilled Kimchi Crab

  • 3 pounds Crab legs
  • 6 ounces Momoya Kim Chee Base
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic minced
  • 2 Limes zested and juiced
  • 1 cup Butter


  • Cut butter into small pieces and put in a small pot on low heat. Let cook on low until the fat bubbles and separates. Remove fat leaving a clear butter. Put to the side to chill.
  • Combine kim chee base, minced garlic, and lime juice. Set one tablespoon of this kim chee marinade aside.
  • Place crab legs in a Ziploc bag with remaining mixture and let marinate overnight.
  • Mix the one tablespoon of previously set aside kim chee marinade with the clarified butter.
  • Grill crab legs basting with marinade for around 10 minutes.
  • Plate with kim chee butter and limes for garnish.
