Indulgent Banana Bread

I would make this dish for my friends and family as a light sweet snack or even as a breakfast item, lightly toasted with some butter.   • 1 Hawaiian Banana Bread Kit
  • 1 cup Smashed Ripe Apple Banana(as instructed by kit)
  • 4 ounces unsalted butter(melted)
  • 4 large eggs(as instructed by kit)
  • 1 teaspoon Maika'i Freeze Dried Kona Coffee
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips(optional)
  • 0.25 cup Maika'i Original Coconut Chips(optional)
  • 0.25 cup Chopped Maika'i Roasted Macadamia Nuts(optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. In a large bowl, mix in mashed bananas and eggs
  3. Add melted butter while whisking
  4. Add the kit ingredients and stir well
  5. Fold in ½ of the chocolate chips
  6. Fold in the coconut chips and ½ of the chopped macadamia nuts (optional)
  7. Pour into a greased 8” x 8” pan, spreading evenly.  Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and macadamia nuts (optional) on top
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
