Pan Roasted Ribeye Steak

Ingredients
- 1 Beef Rib Eye Steak(Approximately 8 ounces)
- 1 Garlic (Bulb)
- 0.5 lemon
- 2 ounces Whole Butter(Unsalted)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 5 thyme sprigs
Instructions
- Remove steaks from refrigeration and allow to reach room temperature for evenly cooking
- Season each side with salt and pepper
- In a skillet heated to medium high heat, add olive oil
- Place steak, garlic and lemon into pan, sear steaks for approximately 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the center reaches medium rare
- Add the butter to the pan and melt the butter until it begins to lightly foam
- Add the thyme, then baste steak with melted butter
- Plate steaks, garnish with asparagus, garlic, lemon and thyme
- Drizzle with butter from pan
- Squeeze out garlic then squeeze lemon juice over steak
