Pan Roasted Ribeye Steak

  • 1 Beef Rib Eye Steak(Approximately 8 ounces)
  • 1 Garlic (Bulb)
  • 0.5 lemon
  • 2 ounces Whole Butter(Unsalted)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 thyme sprigs


  1. Remove steaks from refrigeration and allow to reach room temperature for evenly cooking
  2. Season each side with salt and pepper
  3. In a skillet heated to medium high heat, add olive oil
  4. Place steak, garlic and lemon into pan, sear steaks for approximately 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the center reaches medium rare
  5. Add the butter to the pan and melt the butter until it begins to lightly foam
  6. Add the thyme, then baste steak with melted butter
  7. Plate steaks, garnish with asparagus, garlic, lemon and thyme
  8. Drizzle with butter from pan
  9. Squeeze out garlic then squeeze lemon juice over steak
