Panko Crusted Salmon

Salmon made with Maika'i Maui Onion Garlic Mustard

Panko Crusted Salmon

Ingredients

1 1⁄2 pound
Salmon Fillets
1 1⁄2 cup
panko bread crumbs
1⁄4 cup
Flat Leaf Parsley (Minced)
4 tablespoons
Maika`i Maui Onion Garlic Mustard
1  
lemon (zested)
2 tablespoons
extra virgin olive oil (recommendation: Maika'i Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
   
salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon zest, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Season the salmon with salt and pepper to your desire.
  4. Spread a layer of the Maika`i Maui Onion Garlic Mustard on the salmon.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the panko mixture on the salmon and press it down with your hands.
  6. Cook the salmon on an oven safe pan with a little oil on the stove over medium high heat for 4 minutes. Skin side down. 
  7. Transfer the pan to the oven and cook for an additional 4-8 minutes or until your desired doneness.
  8. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.
