5 Ways to Use Salmon
Healthy, rich, deliciously versatile…it’s easy to see why salmon is a real catch. When fishing for compliments at your dinner table, try these five ways to use salmon.
1. Crisp it Up
Pan fry, skin side down and wait for that satisfying sizzle. When the flesh looks like it’s cooked about halfway up, you know you’ve achieved that perfectly crisp layer of salmon skin.
2. Hawaiian Style
Dice up salted salmon and mix with tomatoes, onions, green onions and chili pepper water to make the classic Hawaiian side dish, Lomi Lomi Salmon.
3. Be Bowl’d
Build your own bowl with cubed or flaked cooked salmon, grains or lettuce and whatever ingredients you’ve got in the fridge. Think avocado, cucumber, edamame, sriracha mayo and sesame seeds.
4. Make it Local-icious
Glaze, marinate or top salmon with your favorite local flavors. Check out our recipes for Misoyaki Salmon, Garlic Chili Furikake Salmon, Furikake Scallion Mayo-Baked Salmon and more.
5. No Cooking Required
Did you know salmon can even be enjoyed raw? Cube it up to make your own poke or wow your guests with our elevated Salmon Carpaccio recipe.
